Official Rules
 
1. Entrees may be nominated by advertising representatives, sales managers, publishers or any media company, vendor or advertiser, as long as the campaign was developed by or in conjunction with a local media company, and confirmed by the local media.  Local media can mean print, radio, television, or online-only news media as long as their is a journalism component. 

2. Vendors may nominate marketing campaigns developed by media companies using their technology. Please include a media contact so that we may confirm. 

2. There are unlimited entries per company or person entering. The best ad in the overall pool will be selected each month, so even if an campaign does not win the month it is entered, it has four more chances to win. So enter sooner for the best chance! 

3. Top Ads includes any advertising and/or marketing campaign. We will accept social, mobile or other marketing campaigns that may not use advertising at all, as long as there is a marketing theme and strategy. Awards are selected 33% on use of multi-media, that is, inclusion of digital components and interactivity; 33% for performance of the campaign and 33% for strength of concept.

4. Winners will be notified by email and phone. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days results may still be published, or an alternate winner selected.
 
5. If LocalMediaInsider cannot find an eligible winner no winner will be awarded that month. 

6. Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.

7. Entrants grant to LocalMediaInsider the right to use and publish their proper name, title and company, online and in any other media, in connection with the contest.

8. LocalMediaInsider reserves the right to use any and all information related to the contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

9. The contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, and/or LocalMediaInsider. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

10. Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of any prize awarded.

11. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.

12. This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.

13. LocalMediaInsider reserves the right to change the rules at any time.

14. You must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
